Does Champion Express Care offer emergency services?

No, Champion Express Care does not offer emergency services.  In case of an emergency, call 911 immediately.  If you have Chest pain, shortness of breath, severe headache, dizziness or any other serious illness, please go to the nearest emergency room.

Do I have to be a Champion Express Care patient to use the Champion Express Care?

No, you do not have to be a Champion Express Care patient.

What type of ailments do you handle at Champion Express Care?

Champion Express Care is available ito handle all minor acute care from sprains and strains to sore throats and ear infections.  Allergies, skin irritations and rashes, coughs, fever, sinus infections or the flu, simple/closed fracture care, eye injuries, concussion care, sports injuries, urinary tract infections, as long as it does not require true emergency care, our trusted physicans are available to assist you.

So I really don't need an appointment?

No our experienced physicans will promptly meet your medical needs without an appointment -- just walk in.

How long will I have to wait to see a physican?

We know your time is valuable that is why our expert physicians strive to see you within 30-minutes or less of your arrival.

Will my primary care physician be notified of my visit to Champion Express Care?

If requested, we will communicate and coordinate your care with your primary care physician.

What insurance carriers do you accept?

Champion Express Care physicians accept all insurance carriers in addition to Caresource, Gateway, and united Healthcare Community Healthplan (formerly Unison)

What am I charged for a Champion Express Care visit?

A visit to Champion Express Care is covered by an office visit co-pay, unlike more exprensive urgent care and emergency room visits.

What if I do not have insurance?

Champion Express Care is happy to see self-pay patients.  At your first visit, you will be asked to pay $75.  If the services exceed that amount, you will be billed the remainder.  At any additional appointments, you will be asked to pay $67 at the appointment with any remainder being billed.

What should I bring when I come in for care?

In order to make the most of your visit we ask that you bring the following:

  • Insurance cards
  • co-payment is required by your insurance carrier
  • All medications that you are currently taking
  • Complete list of all current doctors you are seeing
  • Valid Photo I.D. (ie. Drivers Lic.)

Does Champion Express Care offer after hours care?

Champion Express does provide after-hours care.
